You will need...
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into strips, or just buy some Pre cut chicken strips
- 1 Cup flour
- 2 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Parsley
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Oregano
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- Oil for frying
- In medium size bowl mix dry ingredients
- In a small bowl mix milk and egg
- Dip the chicken strip in milk and egg mixture, then coat with dry mixture. For extra crispy repeat this process then set aside on separate plate.
- Put enough oil in pan that it will come up about half way on the chicken strips, start heating on medium setting. Before you start cooking all the strips it's a good idea to test a small piece. You don't want to cook the strips to fast or they won't cook all the way through. Fry strips until they turn a light golden brown then remove onto a plate with some paper towels to soak up excess oil.
- Let cool and Serve!
We also used this same recipe to make Onion Rings and they were awesome! I just sliced a yellow onion into rings and did the exact same process as with the chicken fingers and they turned out so good! We can't wait to make this again!
Ranch and BBQ sauce are great for dipping !
